Second enrollment period open for the UCM Master’s Degree in Research on Medicinal Cannabis

The Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) continues to strengthen its commitment to specialized training in medicinal cannabis with the second edition of the Master’s Degree in Research on Medicinal Cannabis, delivered by the Faculty of Medicine.

This program, comprising 60 ECTS credits, is aimed at graduates in Health Sciences and Experimental Sciences and offers rigorous, interdisciplinary training in a rapidly expanding area of research. The master’s degree approaches the study of medicinal cannabis from a scientific, evidence-based perspective, integrating basic, preclinical, and translational knowledge, as well as ethical and regulatory considerations.

The launch of this second edition confirms the growing academic and scientific interest in high-quality university education in the field of cannabinoids and the endocannabinoid system, consolidating this master’s program as a benchmark within the Spanish university landscape.

The Spanish Society for Cannabinoid Research (SEIC) highly values the continuity of this degree program, as it contributes to the training of new professionals and researchers with a solid and critical foundation in the field of medicinal cannabis.
